Job description:
Seeking an experienced Data Scientist, proven to excel in high operational tempo environments, to drive mission execution in support of national security objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience directly supporting the Intelligence Community (IC). Your technical expertise is critical to enabling process automation and the integration and application of data analytics to large datasets. You are a strategic communicator, capable of working with technical and non-technical partners to enable the production of intelligence and targeting products. You are also comfortable fully participating in peer review processes aimed at enhancing advanced analytic projects through use of best practices and consideration of novel methodological approaches to these projects. You are comfortable taking limited direction to support your customer’s ability to maintain operational readiness in a dynamic environment. You establish and maintain excellent, collaborative working relationships with executive leaders, soliciting and incorporating feedback in a thoughtful, professional manner.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
